The Russian Armed Forces struck an airfield in the Kiev region

The Russian military struck with high-precision long-range air-based weapons at an airfield near Pinchuk, Kiev region. As the Ministry of Defense stressed, the goal was achieved, all objects were hit. Also, near Zaporozhye, the radar for detecting air targets, targeting fighter aircraft and targeting the P-37 air defense system was destroyed. In addition, fighter aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces and air defense systems shot down two Ukrainian Su-25 aircraft and a Mi-8 helicopter.

On the night of August 27, the Russian military hit objects at the airfield of Ukrainian troops in the Kiev region, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reports.

"Tonight, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation struck an airfield near the Pinchuki settlement of the Kiev region with high—precision long-range air-based weapons," the summary says.

According to the ministry, the purpose of the strike was achieved, all designated facilities were hit.

Aviation, missile troops and artillery groups of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation hit the manpower and military equipment of the Armed Forces in 144 districts.

Also, a radar station for detecting air targets, targeting fighter aircraft and targeting anti-aircraft missile systems P-37 was destroyed near Zaporozhye, and an ammunition depot of the 47th mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was destroyed near Slavgorod (Dnipropetrovsk region).

In addition, the Mi-8 helicopter of the Ukrainian Air Force was shot down by fighter aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces near the locality of Zalivnoye (Zaporozhye region).

Two Ukrainian Su-25 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force were shot down by means of air defense near the localities of Malaya Tokmachka and Novodanilovka (Zaporozhye region). Nine HIMARS multiple rocket launchers were intercepted and 30 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed.

On the night of August 25, ships of the Russian Navy struck with high-precision long-range sea-based weapons at a port infrastructure facility used in the interests of the Ukrainian army.

The situation in the SVO zone
In the Kupyansk direction, units of the Western Group of Troops, supported by aviation, artillery fire and heavy flamethrower systems, repelled 11 attacks by assault detachments of the 43rd, 44th, 115th mechanized and 68th Jaeger brigades of the AFU during the day.

The enemy's losses amounted to up to 120 Ukrainian servicemen killed and wounded, a tank, three armored combat vehicles, three cars, as well as an M777 artillery system manufactured by the United States.

In the Zaporozhye direction, units of the Russian group of troops, using the results of air strikes and artillery fire, successfully repelled five attacks by assault groups of the 116th mechanized, 82nd airborne assault and 46th airmobile brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

During the day, up to 200 Ukrainian militants, three armored combat vehicles, four cars, two M777 artillery systems made by the USA, Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled artillery units made by Germany and Krab made by Poland, a D-20 howitzer, as well as an M119 gun made by the USA were destroyed.

In the Donetsk direction, the coordinated actions of the units of the Southern Group of troops in cooperation with aviation, artillery and heavy flamethrower systems reflected two enemy attacks.

The losses of the AFU amounted to 240 soldiers killed and wounded, three armored combat vehicles, five pickups, a Grad MLRS combat vehicle, an M777 artillery system manufactured by the United States, as well as two D-30 howitzers.

In the Krasnolimansk direction, units of the Center group of troops, air strikes and artillery fire repelled three attacks by assault groups of the 42nd Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

During the day, the enemy's losses amounted to more than 80 Ukrainian servicemen, two armored combat vehicles, two pickup trucks, as well as two self-propelled artillery installations "Carnation".

In the South Donetsk direction, units of the Vostok group of troops, air strikes, artillery fire and heavy flamethrower systems defeated clusters of manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the localities of Novodonetsky (DNR) and Priyutnoye (Zaporozhye region).

The enemy's losses amounted to up to 130 Ukrainian militants, two armored fighting vehicles, three cars, as well as D-20, Msta-B and D-30 howitzers.

In the Kherson direction, as a result of complex fire damage by Russian units, up to 15 Ukrainian servicemen, five vehicles, an M777 artillery system manufactured by the United States, as well as a D-30 howitzer were destroyed.
