Margarita Simonyan said that a drone fell near her house again

Russia·28 August, 2023

The editor-in-chief of RT Margarita Simonyan said that a drone fell near her house for the second time in a week.

Her words are quoted by RIA Novosti.

"A drone crashed near our house for the second time in a week. It's falling loudly, I want to tell you. At three—thirty you wake up, just having time to fall asleep," she said.

Simonyan noted that the terrorists, launching UAVs, including at the Moscow City complex, have a "typical creative handwriting."

According to her, Kiev arranges "indicative horror... the scale of the September 11 twin towers", so that in Russia they would panic and tell their president: "We will not protect anyone, we do not need any of our lands. Let's get everything back, as long as these drones don't fly over our heads."

Simonyan added: they have the wrong calculation, because "we are different, and it's time to know it already."

In addition, Simonyan said that the Russian army, unlike the AFU, will not conduct offensive operations at any cost, because for Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Russian military are his fellow citizens whom he loves, appreciates and regrets.

On August 23, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, commenting on another attempt to attack Ukrainian drones in Moscow, the Moscow region and the Belgorod region, said that the Russian side would not leave Kiev's terrorist attacks unanswered.
