Domodedovo and Vnukovo temporarily stopped receiving and sending aircraft, TASS reports. According to Baza and Mash, a Carpet plan has been announced in the capital region

Moscow Domodedovo and Vnukovo airports have suspended the reception and dispatch of flights, TASS reports with reference to the aviation services. RIA Novosti writes that currently more than 15 flights are delayed for departure and arrival.

According to the telegram channels Baza and Mash, the authorities announced the "Carpet" plan - it is used for illegal border crossings, as well as when unidentified objects appear in the airspace.

According to Flightradar24, the planes fly around the southwest and southeast of the Moscow region. Sheremetyevo Airport is operating normally, TASS notes.

Recently, the capital's airports have repeatedly reported on the restriction of flights. The reason was drone attacks.

The last time restrictions on flights over Moscow were introduced on the night of August 26. Then more than 30 flights were delayed and canceled in Vnukovo and Domodedovo. Later, the Defense Ministry reported on the repulse of an aircraft-type drone attack on objects in Moscow and the Moscow region. The attack, according to the ministry, was repulsed around 3:00 Moscow time, and the airports resumed work an hour and an hour and a half later, respectively.
